Paisley was born on November 8, 1990 in Hamilton, Ontario, a city she has called home ever since. Paisley lives with her mother, father and younger brother Callum. Although a born Canadian, Paisley has strong British roots with her father being born in Scotland and her mother’s parents being English and Scottish. Paisley loves to visit her family in Scotland, a trip her family makes every two years. Paisley recently met two of her Australian cousins who are close in age to her and she now has visions of visiting Australia! Other family vacations include Florida, California, New York and Eastern Canada but her high school pilgrimage to Paris and Rome in March 2007 tops her list of memorable vacations.

Paisley is a Grade 12 student at St. Jean de Brebeuf High School. In addition to being an honour roll student, Paisley is also a school prefect, attending various functions at the school. Paisley has been a member of the SJB Braves cheerleading squad throughout her high school years. Paisley’s ambition to become a child psychologist became a little more real in December with a letter of early acceptance from Waterloo University for Psychology. It is Paisley’s goal to someday help teens deal with eating disorders and anxieties.

In her spare time, Paisley is also a cheerleader for Cheerforce Tigers, a competitive cheerleading squad. In the past, Paisley was a preliminary championship Irish dancer with Reaney Academy. Paisley danced competitively for eight years, a passion she only gave up last year to pursue her dreams of being Miss Teen Canada Globe. Paisley has also taken lessons in ballet, highland dancing, ice skating and karate. She played soccer for a number of years and still enjoys supporting her favourite team, Manchester United. Paisley does yoga and meditates on a daily basis.

Paisley was first crowned Miss Teen Southern Ontario in March of 2007. In her role as Miss Teen Southern Ontario, Paisley attended over 44 fund raising events for local charities, accumulating over 100 volunteer hours. Although all these charities are important to Paisley, the cancer related charities have a special importance to her. Paisley grandmother and Uncle both died of cancer within a year and a half of each other when Paisley was in her pre-teen years which deeply affected her. Both Paisley’s platform speech and charity video support the Cancer Assistance Program and are available for viewing on this web site. Paisley is a member of the Junior Board of Hope for the Cancer Assistance Program, attending monthly meetings and volunteering her time to help run fund raising events. Paisley will also be part of the FASHION SHOW in 2008.

In August 2007, after four months of appearances, preparing her platform speech, charity video, biography and sponsor hunting, Paisley headed to Toronto for the Miss Teen Canada Globe pageant. During that week, Paisley forged new friendships, experienced different cultures and despite long days of appearances, preparation and competition, she had a blast! This week was truly an experience Paisley will never forget. Paisley’s exposure to judging and competing during her Irish dancing days certainly showed throughout the competition. She displayed grace and elegance during the bathing suit and evening gown competition and nerves never seems to be a problem, although Paisley admits to being very nervous. Paisley showed poise beyond her years when she answered questions during the Questions and Answer portion of the competition which ultimately won her the title … Miss Teen Canada Globe 2007.

Since being crowned Miss Teen Canada Globe 2007 on August 19, 2007, Paisley’s social life consists mainly of trips to Toronto to appear at charitable functions such as the Funk N Walk for Aids, The Weekend to End Breast Cancer and the CN Tower Climb for United Way just to name a few. There have also been Santa Claus Parades and appearances at the Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver Film Festivals.

This ambitious seventeen-year-old from the Cayman Island is the reigning Miss Teen Cayman Islands 2007/08. Yentel is a senior at the John Gray High School, and is highly involved with numerous extra-curricular activities within the school such as Peer Counseling, Junior Achievement, Year book Committee and the Choir. She is also the House Captain of her sporting division. In addition, Yentel is an enthusiastic annual volunteer for Vacation Bible School at the First Assembly of God Church. Consistently vibrant, energetic, optimistic, caring and determined; Yentel has the drive and belief, along with the support from her family and country, that she can achieve any goal she sets for herself, including the dream of becoming an Obstetrician Gynecologist in the near future.

She strives to live life to the fullest, both academically and physically every day. In her free time, Yentel enjoys singing, savoring the delicious Caymanian cassava cake and other local dishes, going to the beach, writing poetry, playing the piano and perfecting her skills on the court as a netball player for her school team. Yentel enjoys fulfilling her duties as Miss Teen which range from reading to children at various schools, speaking to school-aged children about the benefits of community involvement, donating money to the Pediatric Ward of the George Town hospital and other organizations to assist with various community projects such as Cancer walkathons, beach clean ups, etc.

If for any reason Miss Teen Worldwide Caribbean 2008 or Miss Teen Worldwide 2008 cannot carry out her reign or uphold her duties, Charlene Mercado Milano Miss Teen World Puerto Rico or Miss Teen South Africa Victoria Huges will automatically become the new Miss Teen Worldwide Caribbean 2008 or Miss Teen Worldwide 2008 and carry on as the new title holder.
